I suppose in coastal California there is no end to stunning seascape wedding locations. And yet, Portofino Hotel and Yacht Club in Redondo Beach does it just right.
With its stunning ceiling length windows and breathtaking views, we were thrilled to be back again to work this Persian & Iraqi wedding, having worked the venue many times in the past. The venue has a great layout with the ceremony and/or cocktail area outside in the grass nestled between palm trees and the reception, directly adjacent, in the ballroom.
Dashing Events brought the DJ, percussionist, saxophone, and uplighting.
We also threw a pinpoint on the cake. It was a nice touch.
The guests were particularly enthralled with our percussionist that night, caught up in his energy and passion, perfectly set to both the Persian and Arabic music. Our percussionist is truly among the best in Los Angeles.
We just love it when the crowd gets out there and just enjoys their time. The dance floor was packed when we played Arabic music. Packed again when we played persian music. Good music, good crowd. The most popular song of the night was Sami Beigi – Ey Joonam — requested twice!
