Last Minute Planning
Special events often require planning well in advance, especially for a once-in-a-lifetime event such as YOUR WEDDING! Our clients generally book us 6 to 9 months in advance, and as far as one year in advance for popular dates. This Iraqi couple, however, contacted us only a week in advance. Fortunately, their wedding was on a Sunday that we had available. Just their luck! But we must give them credit, as they did a fabulous job of outlining their detailed timeline well in advance, which made our work easier as entertainers.
The Wedding
Both the bride and groom are Iraqi (from Iraq), and desired mostly Arabic and American music. What do you know…we have plenty of experience with Arabic wedding DJ and Arabic music. The ceremony & reception both took place at the De Luxe banquet hall in Burbank. This was our first time there, but we found that it’s a nice place with good service and good food.
